Large Mid Century Blue and White Drip Glaze Ceramic Retro Ashtray
In excellent condition, with no chips cracks or repairs. There is very little sign of wear except in the very bottom, where it probably didn't get washed enough and had just enough abrasive left to make the tiniest scratches in the glaze from cigarettes being ground out.
9.5" across x 1.5" deep.
5 rests.  Two good flat spots for your accessories to sit, if wanted.

Bottom says "USA 312".
A very cool 1960s piece that will make your friends smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let's talk about ashtrays. They never got any respect. They were the last things to get thrown into the dishwater at the bar (and probably chucked in from five feet away), dropped and beaten, thousands of cigars and cigarettes violently snubbed out in their faces over the years...It was a hard life for the best of them. Now they are either becoming a thing of the past or they are finding newer uses (check appropriate state laws.) They're survivors. There may be a couple of rough spots, but nothing that will hurt you to handle, or wash. They are useful conversation starters, and can be core decor. We assure you that if we're offering them to you, they are (of course) fabulous enough for us to even consider selling them.
~~ We sell select vintage items. They are not new, and rarely look new. They are, in many cases, older than we are. They have seen life and times. We do not repair or replace parts on any of the items we sell, with the exception of lighters. They came to us in the condition they are now, and are sold as is. When we say an item is in “excellent vintage condition”, we mean just that – it is in excellent condition for its age. For our jewelry, we examine it with both a scanner and a lighted, magnifying dental lamp.
We are very particular about what we buy and sell, and describe things to the very best of our ability, in a fair and accurate way. Please - closely review the photos and descriptions of the items you wish to purchase, and if you have questions about them, we will gladly answer them prior to your buying.
Our packing materials may be unsightly, albeit brilliantly effective. We try to reuse as much material as possible from our business.
WE DO COMBINE SHIPPING. Let us know if you’d like us to calculate it for you! International shipping determined by destination.
GLASS and CERAMICS:
*Please Note*
Pressed, molded or blown glass has imperfections from the manufacturing process. These imperfections are inherited from production and are not considered damage. These minor imperfections often occur, such as: small defects in hand painting, color variations, creases or lines from molds, tiny air bubbles or small debris encased in glass is considered natural and is not going to be scrutinized or considered damage. However, we will make note if I notice any larger imperfections that appear to be beyond the acceptable norm, as a defect.
If it is damaged when it arrives, or is not what we described, tell us immediately and let us make it right. A perfect review and a return customer is always our goal.
PEACE.
